On January 11, 2019, Indian Chamber of Commerce organized the ICC Social Impact Awards at Kolkata. ICICI Foundation was declared the winner in the category: ‘Empowering the Rural Population’ (Large Projects). The award was presented to ICICI for the work done under the Rural Initiative Programme for Sustainable Livelihood in over 1200 villages across India.
The award was presented by Mr. Rudra Chatterjee, President, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Damiano Francovigh, Consul General, Consulate General of Italy in Kolkata.
